The La Porte Municipal Airport is a city-owned,
public-use airport located three miles south of the
central business district of La Porte, Indiana.

The LaPorte Municipal Airport is a fine general
aviation airport by any standards. It accommodates
virtually any business aircraft and offers appropriate
services for them. This includes an aircraft and
power plant shop, a flight school, and an engine
overhaul facility.

As a fully functional airport, La Porte Municipal
Airport covers an area of approximately 350 acres
and contains two asphalt-paved runways: 2/20 at
5,000 x 75 ft. (1,524 x 23 m) and 14/32 measuring
2,800 x 60 ft. (853 x 18 m). On average, the airport
sees about 15,000 to 20,000 aircraft operations per
year with 78 aircraft on base.
